S:ta Maria kyrka

In the middle of central Ystad lies S:ta Maria kyrka, or Mariakyrkan as it is most often called. The church from the 13th century is the oldest in Ystad and one of the oldest brick churches in Skåne, built of hand-moulded red brick. Guided tours at 1 pm and 3 pm, midday prayer at 12 noon on weekdays until 8 August 2025 (cancelled when a service or ceremony is being held).
