About the church
Rasbokils kyrka is a church building in Rasbokil parish (historical) in the Diocese of Uppsala and belongs to Rasbo-Rasbokil parish. It is situated at the edge of the Lejsta stream valley, a few kilometres north of Rasbo parish (historical). There has probably been an older church on the site. This is indicated by sacristy walls that are older than the rest of the church. The predecessor was probably a wooden church, which had a masonry sacristy. The churchyard is surrounded by a churchyard wall with a lychgate, both built of fieldstone.
On a hill south of the church site stands the bell tower from the 18th century. The tower was originally an open structure, but in the 19th century it was clad with panelling.
The rune stone U 1012 stands in the churchyard.
