The former parish of Ramsberg has a long history behind it, with three churches. Ramsberg took shape in the 15th and 16th centuries when people settled in the Bergslagen forest to cultivate the land. The settled population wanted a church and built a chapel.

About the church
Ramsbergs kyrka is a church building in Ramsberg in the Diocese of Västerås. Until 2010 it was the parish church of Ramsberg parish, but following a parish merger the church now belongs to Linde bergslag parish.
