About the church
Övertorneå kyrka in Övertorneå, Sweden (Matarengi) is the parish church of Övertorneå parish in the Diocese of Luleå. The church was built in 1734–1736 by Hans Biskop. The bell tower was built in 1763. Övertorneå kyrka featured on a postage stamp in 1997.
