About the church
Östra Vingåkers kyrka is a church building belonging to Katrineholmsbygden parish in the Diocese of Strängnäs. The church lies six kilometres south-west of Katrineholm.
The church is cruciform, with a five-sided sacristy extension in the east. The roof structure of the church is covered with factory-lacquered sheet metal in panels, in black. The nave, transepts and chancel are covered by mansard roofs, while the original sacristy is covered by a gable roof where it joins the chancel in the west and a three-part roof in the east.
