About the church
Oscar Fredriks kyrka is a church building in Gothenburg Municipality, situated at the end of Värmlandsgatan, in the Olivedal district. Since 1908 it has belonged to Oscar Fredrik parish (formerly Masthugg parish) in the Diocese of Gothenburg in the Church of Sweden.
The church takes its name from the full name of King Oscar II. He visited the church in 1898 and wrote his name in its guest book.
