Önums kyrka

Önums kyrka dates from 1864 and was designed by Johan Fredrik Åbom. It replaced a small log-built wooden church with a bell tower from the Middle Ages that stood on Emtunga ås. For a period Önums kyrka was the joint church for Vara and Önum and was then called Warnum.

Önums kyrka, formerly Varnums kyrka, is a church building that has belonged since 2018 to Varabygden parish (2002—2018 Vara parish and formerly Önum parish) in the Diocese of Skara. It lies just east of the main town in Vara Municipality.
