Brick church from the 15th century. Bright interior with high vaults, a beautiful chancel window, an altarpiece into which medieval sculptures from an older church have been integrated, and an unusual series of Passion paintings.

About the church
Nysätra kyrka is a church building in the historical parish of Nysätra in the Diocese of Uppsala. The church is the parish church of Lagunda parish and lies on the northern edge of the Örsundaån valley.
In the churchyard there are memorial stones, among them one for the owners of Ryda kungsgård.
On a hill north-east of the churchyard stands a belfry from the 18th century. The belfry is clad in wooden panelling and has a shingle-covered cap. Just south of the churchyard is a church school from the early 19th century.
