Nathanaelskyrkan

Nathanaelskyrkan is beautifully situated on Storberget in Tierp. The church was consecrated on Ascension Day, 10 May 1934, and is named after one of Jesus's disciples. The altarpiece depicts the baptism of Jesus and is the church's chief adornment.

About the church
Nathanaelskyrkan is a church building belonging to Tolfta parish in the Diocese of Uppsala. The church stands on a wooded hill in the southern part of the community of Tierp. To the west, below the hill, lies a churchyard. Just northeast of the church there is a mortuary built in 1959.
