About the church
Mellösa kyrka (formerly Lilla Mellösa kyrka) belongs to Mellösa parish in the Diocese of Strängnäs. The church building and its churchyard lie surrounded by farmland, on a rise between Lake Mellösasjön to the east and Lake Harpsundssjön to the west. In the church village there are a parish house, a church stable, a school building and farms from the 18th and 19th centuries. The nearest town is Flen, eight kilometres south of Mellösa.
