Maglarps kyrka

One of the oldest brick churches in Skåne, from 1190. Also called Maglarps gamla kyrka. Among the sights are the baptismal font from the 13th century, the pulpit from 1568 and a triumphal crucifix by the Törringe Master from the 15th century.

About the church
Maglarps kyrka (also known as Maglarps gamla kyrka) is a church building in Maglarp that belongs to Hammarlöv parish in the Diocese of Lund. The oldest parts of the church date from the 13th century, and it was in use until 1909, when Maglarps nya kyrka was consecrated. The church was reconsecrated in 1971 and resumed its role as parish church when Maglarps nya kyrka was taken out of use in 1976 and demolished in 2007.
