About the church
Lambohovskyrkan is a cooperative church shared by Equmeniakyrkan Linköping (Equmeniakyrkan, formerly Linköpings missionskyrka) and Lambohov parish (the Church of Sweden, Slaka-Nykil pastorate).
The church, which is located in the Lambohov district of Linköping, is shaped like an ark and was designed by the Norrköping architect Guy Sjöwall. Lambohovskyrkan was built and consecrated in 1987.
The church building also serves as a university church. Lambohovskyrkan is also used for concerts and music recordings thanks to its good acoustics. Originally a preschool was integrated into the church, but it has now (2009) been converted into an eldercare centre.
