About the church
Lagga kyrka is a church building in Lagga in the Diocese of Uppsala. It is the parish church of Lagga parish in Knivsta pastorate. The church lies at the foot of the northern slope of Laggaberget, beside the ancient waterway that connected Uppsala with the bay Garnsviken. In the historic parish lies Mora äng, where the Svear gathered to elect a king.
