Hörja kyrka

In the 13th century, probably around the middle of the century, the farmers of Hörja resolved to build themselves a stone church. The church was given a simpler plan and design than the mother church at Finja, which was already a century old. The walls of the building were laid of split fieldstone blocks in lime mortar. It was equipped with a rectangular nave and a square chancel without an apse.
