About the church
Högseröds kyrka is a church building in the village of Högseröd in Eslöv Municipality. It belongs to Eslöv parish in the Diocese of Lund.
The oldest parts of the building were built in the later 12th century. In the Middle Ages the church had a nave, a smaller chancel and a curved apse. When the first tower was added is unknown, but it was demolished in 1857 and replaced by a new tower. The porch on the south side also disappeared, and only a portal remains there. The church has two bells, from 1680 and 1744 respectively.
On 2 June 1889 a fire broke out which resulted in most of the church's archive being destroyed.
