About the church
Heda kyrka is a church building in Heda in the Diocese of Linköping. It is the parish church of Ödeshög parish. The church stands 8 km north of Ödeshög, in an agricultural district south of Tåkern that is rich in ancient monuments. The church is built in the Romanesque style, with massive walls, small round-arched windows and a blunt tower. Of the original Romanesque church there remain parts of the south nave wall and the lower storeys of the west tower.
