About the church
Gustav Adolfs kyrka is a church belonging to Borås parish in the Diocese of Skara. The church was built in 1903–1906, when Caroli kyrka in Borås had become too small. The church building is in the Neo-Gothic style. The building was renovated in the early 1950s and underwent a further extensive renovation, both outside and inside, in 2006. Since 1939 the Church of Sweden has had two parishes in Borås, Caroli parish and Gustav Adolf parish.
