Gullereds kyrka

Gullereds kyrka lies on a sand ridge 302 metres above sea level. The church was ready for consecration in 1844, in the later years of the reign of King Karl XIV Johan. The king wrote in his own hand "Approved, Stockholm Palace, 22 April 1843" on the drawing of the church prepared by the architect J. Carlberg.
