About the church
Gottröra kyrka is a church building in Gottröra and belongs to Gottröra parish in the Diocese of Uppsala. The church stands in a flat, fertile farming landscape surrounded by buildings. On its south side, National Road 77 runs past in an east-west direction. A little over 5 kilometres to the west lies the village of Husby, and about 15 kilometres to the east lies Rimbo. The church was consecrated on Sunday 2 December 1894 by the rural dean Johan Wedberg. The church was packed with visitors for the consecration.
