About the church
Glava kyrka is a church building in Glava in the Diocese of Karlstad, built in 1735-1738.
The oldest church was a simple wooden structure located about seven kilometres south of today's Glava kyrka. In time it became too small for the needs of the locality, and a new church was therefore built under the direction of the master mason Christian Haller. Haller had built Karlstads domkyrka a few years earlier.
