Gestads kyrka

The old church site of Gestad (Gestad gamla kyrkplats) lies just north of Gestad kyrka. The old church of Gestad was probably built in the 13th century. The new church was consecrated in 1800 and was built partly from the bricks of the old church. On the old church site there is a stately monument to Lieutenant General Axel Erik Roos.
