Gagnefs kyrka, from the 13th century, is beautifully situated by the Österdalälven. Here you will find art by Ottilia Adelborg and the font ”Kristningspojken”. Sensationally, the church's original wooden floor from the 1290s has also recently been rediscovered, preserved beneath the floorboards in the vicarage barn.
