Färeds kyrka

In 1953 the church was thoroughly renovated, at which time it received electric heating and lighting as well as new pews. In 1640 the church was dilapidated and unused, but was then renewed by the parishioners. Färeds kyrka, called Sancta Gertruds kyrka, is a medieval stone church from the 12th century.
