About the church
Fardhems kyrka is a church building on Gotland belonging to Fardhem parish in the Diocese of Visby. The church is visible from the south across the plain. According to Guta saga, the church is the "third in the land" and would therefore be one of the first churches on Gotland. What is probably meant is an older wooden church that preceded the present church building.
