About the church
Danderyds kyrka is the parish church of Danderyd parish in the Diocese of Stockholm. The church lies about 6 kilometres north of Stockholm, next to the heavily trafficked E18 between Stockholm and Norrtälje.
Beside Danderyds kyrka stands Klockare Malms kapell, with a devotional room for smaller funerals, weddings and baptisms.
South of the church, adjoining the churchyard, lies Berga gård, which probably dates back to the Viking Age. The present main building dates from the 18th century.
At the church stands the runestone U 127, one of the Jarlabankestenarna (the Jarlabanke Stones).
