Brunns kyrka

The old church in Brunn was probably built as early as the 12th century. Its remains can be glimpsed in the hollow north of the present church. In 1893 the new grey stone church was built on a beautiful, elevated site, clearly visible to travellers on the road. Above the portal is the inscription "Jubelåret 1893" ("The Jubilee Year 1893") - in commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the Uppsala Synod.
