Bjärtrå kyrka

In the autumn of 1840 the first sod was turned for Bjärtrå kyrka. Seven years later, on 5 September 1847, the church was ready and could be consecrated by the rural dean Jonas Nordberg from Nordingrå. Crofters, lodgers and farmers all took part in the work.
