Åhus S:ta Maria kyrka

The church stands beside the square, in the middle of Åhus. The oldest parts of the church date from the 12th century. The church was extended over the following centuries. The tower was raised at the end of the Middle Ages. The baptismal font in greenish limestone dates from the 12th century. Magnificent altar from 1636.
